In order to meet the growing demand for building materials composed of quartz Avireco will look to enhance its quartz-processing up to 700,000 m2/yr. The Hi-tech equipment required to expand quartz product production will be purchased from the United States, and Italy. 

Opportunity 

North America consumption of quartz is related in a large structure for the construction’s development. Over the recent years, North America has developed a very rapid growth rate construction process. Former productions have not met the domestic demand; therefore, imports of production are increasing yearly with inflation prices. The 80% production of Quartz will be easily spread out through Canada and The United Stated and throughout other potential markets. 

Market

In 2018, the world stone industry has reached a global production of about 5.4 billion square feet (317 million sq.m2 in slabs of 3/4 inch x 20mm2 thickness) When compared with 2010 and calculated considering the same processing waste from Quartz material to finished product, the increase was about 15%.
